1. Electric bicycle battery market demand is strong.

More than 30 million e-bikes were sold last year, with more than 97 percent using lead-acid batteries. Relevant data show that there are 140 million e-bikes in China, and the annual market for supporting and replacing new cars will reach 56 million KVA hours.

2. The rapid development of industrial battery market demand is strong

It is mainly a backup power supply for communication and energy storage batteries such as wind and solar energy. In contrast to the fourth quarter of the e-bike market, manufacturers are currently running out of orders for energy storage batteries, even before they can produce them. This is because of the rapid growth of the telecommunications industry in recent years and the fact that many batteries previously supplied to infrastructure are due for replacement. So in the last year or two, the demand for backup power supply for communication is quite large, about 40 million KVA hours.

3. Electric vehicle battery market continues to maintain strong demand

Automotive starter batteries are also a big business. Last year, China's automobile output was 18.5 million, and the total number of vehicles in the country exceeded 100 million, which has become a global auto sales power. Add in exports, and more than 53 million KVH of starter lead batteries are added or replaced each year, close to the demand for electric bicycles.
